- COVID-19 Testing
With the increased demand for testing, we urge our residents and visitors to be careful about where they are getting tested. The City has seen an increase in unauthorized pop-up testing sites that may be scammers taking advantage of the pandemic to get to people's money and/or personal information. Our Code Enforcement and Business Licensing Divisions are working diligently to identify and deal with phony test sites in our area.
Phony test sites typically ask for payment upfront and don't return test results in a timely manner, if at all. The City of Hallandale Beach urges its residents and visitors to protect themselves from being scammed. Be wary of sharing sensitive information with strangers and of pop up operations.
