The National Hurricane Center downgraded Fred from a tropical depression to a disorganized wave on Saturday.  The storm has moved West into the Gulf.

Three to five inches of rain tis expected in our area through Monday.

The City of Hallandale Beach is now monitoring Tropical Storm Grace.  However, it is still too early to tell how Grace may impact our area.

All City Park facilities including our beaches will remain open until further notice. 

Garbage/Sanitation/ Bulk Trash pickup will continue on the regular schedule until further notice.  

Mini-Bus Shuttle service will remain in normal operation until further notice.  However, conditions are being monitored and the buses will stop running when conditions are no longer safe.

There is no sand bag distribution scheduled.  Residents are reminded it is illegal to remove sand from the beach.  Please plan ahead and visit your local home improvement store for bags and sand or a suitable alternative.
