Vice Mayor Anabelle Lima-Taub

About

Anabelle Taub was born in Haifa, Israel, and raised in New York. She spent the early part of her adult life as an EMT-Paramedic aiding the public during emergencies. She later became a real estate broker and is now working up the street from Hallandale Beach at Beachfront Realty in Aventura Florida.

Anabelle has dedicated much of her life to service. As a Paramedic, she dropped everything and traveled to Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina to help care for the sick and wounded. Having been in emergency care, she proudly supports first responders and law enforcement.

She is a passionate advocate and activist for animal rights. One of  Commissioner Taub's international efforts includes bringing aid to cats and dogs of Northern Isreal during a time of military conflict.

Upon returning locally, she and her sister frequently assist those with financial hardships by giving food and medical care for their pets throughout South Florida.

Anabelle was elected to the Hallandale Beach Commission in November of 2016 on a platform of restoring ethics to city hall, promoting public safety and ensuring a considerate government that puts the residents of Hallandale Beach first. Anabelle utilized her first term as commissioner to combat the most prevalent issues in South Florida including condo association fraud and social initiatives for senior citizens living on lower social security incomes.
