How do I dispose of hazardous waste (motor oil, paint, fuel, electronics ect)?

Effective June 23 the City’s Electronic Recycling and Residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Drop-Off program will no longer take place on a weekly basis.  It will be a quarterly program.  Residents may drop off their HHW Electronic Recycling at the facility located at 630 NW 2nd Street. during the following dates from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm:

  • Saturday March 7, 2020
  • Saturday June 6, 2020

Proof of residency is required. Accepted materials include: residential pain (1 gallon size) tires (max of 4 per visit), fluorescent light bulbs, vehicle batteries, electronic materials, used motor oil, household cleaners and anti-freeze.
